What Onefold is

Onefold is an application a merchant installs on their OpoShop store. It renders a one-page checkout on the merchant's own storefront, on top of the checkout OpoShop already provides. It is an enhancement layer: it never removes or replaces the OpoShop checkout, and if it cannot run for any reason the shopper is handed back to the standard checkout, on the same order, and can complete their purchase.

What Onefold is not

Onefold is not a payment processor or a money transmitter, and it does not move money. An installed OpoShop app cannot charge a card or make a payout. Payments are created and confirmed by OpoShop's own payment system and settle into the merchant's own payout exactly as they do on the standard checkout. Onefold never sees card details, never holds funds, and never marks an order paid.

The merchant's responsibilities

Availability

Onefold is provided as-is and free of charge. It may be paused globally or for an individual store at any time โ€” for example if a defect is suspected โ€” in which case shoppers simply use the standard OpoShop checkout. No uptime is guaranteed, and because the standard checkout always remains available, a Onefold outage does not prevent a merchant from taking orders.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Onefold. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

A merchant may uninstall Onefold at any time from their OpoShop admin. Uninstalling immediately returns all shoppers to the standard OpoShop checkout.
